Mission

Cuadro de texto: Trajectory@ Mission is:
To promote Human Rights Education, Environmental awareness and Intercultural dialogue as pre-requisites for the development of a "culture of peace" and as a contribution to democratic stability;
To provide competencies to youth organisations and youth leaders in order to further strength their role in the building of civil society;
To empower youth organisations, in particular working with the most vulnerable groups to develop projects, strategies and activities to address racism, xenophobia, discrimination and gender-based forms of violence affecting them and their community;
To promote and support life long learning and non formal education as useful tools to achieve these goals;
To provide consultancy to non governmental organisations and educational institutions working with young people and to support the development of value based projects.

Training Activities

 

Youth organisation Trajectory@ provides expertise through its member-trainers in educational training activities at local, national and international level. Its trainers are members of Pool of trainers of Youth Directorate of Council of Europe and Pool of trainers of European Youth Forum.

Citizenship: what kind of SHIP is that?!

Training Course on Citizenship and Integration

Organised by: Youth Organisation TRAJECTORY@.

2-10 August 2005, Saaremaa, Estonia.

The main aim was to empower youth leaders with competencies on inclusion and citizenship, which they can use within their projects and practices; and support their role as multipliers working with young people.

The target group were youth leaders (aged 18-33) coming from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Spain, France, Italy and Portugal.

 

Training Course in Cultural Diversity through Outdoor Activities

Organised by: Esplais Catalans – Esplac with the partnership, educational support and consultancy of Trajectory@.

9-17 September 2005, Girona, Spain.

The aim of this specific training course was to provide opportunities for youth leaders and youth workers in the youth NGO field of Baltic and South West Europe, who are in the position to act as “multipliers” of a non-formal educational nature related to Cultural Diversity and Human Rights issues in a multicultural environment, empowering international youth participation. The target group was youth leaders from Estonia, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal and Spain.

Training Course for Educators and Multipliers in Human Rights Education in the West Mediterranean area

Organised by: National Youth Council of Catalonia; Trajectory@ provided an expertise in preparation of the educational approaches and 2 trainers for this activity.

1-9 November 2005, Tarragona, Spain.


The Training Course “Building Bridges for Human Rights” aimed to develop competence of multipliers, youth leaders and educators, dealing with youth work and Human Rights Education in the west Mediterranean Area.

The core objectives of the course were to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable participants to act as multiplier agents of Human Rights Education and to build bridges of understanding across Mediterranean Sea.

Participants were multipliers from 20 to 35 years old coming from the west Mediterranean area: Morocco, Tunis, Algeria, Italy, Portugal, France and Spain.

A diversity of non-formal education working methods and adapted approaches proposed in Compass (Council of Europe Manual in Human Rights Education) were used by team for learning about Human Rights and Human Rights Education.

The Course was supported by European Youth Foundation and Youth Euro-Med Programme.
