“Euro-Mediterranean youth work for Intercultural democratic citizenship Preventing Polarisation”
The long term project includes a 10-month programme directed towards the capacity building and competence development of youth work professionals, youth leaders, community mediators and educators (from formal and non-formal sectors) that are directly working at the local level with groups of young people addressing extreme polarisation dynamics.
The Project will support youth workers and educators to:
- Develop competences to prevent polarisation based on the principles of intercultural democratic citizenship and human rights education;
- Analyse the role of youth work addressing the causes, consequences and dynamics of polarisation and exchanging practices and methodologies on how to prevent it;
- Prepare initiatives contributing to prevent polarisation in the local communities and develop cooperation strategies in the Euro-Mediterranean area.

Capacity Building course
Dates: from the 24th till the 30th March 2022 (arrival and departure days), in Tunis (Tunisia)
Local Initiatives development
Time for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a local initiatives preventing polarisation in the community.
Best practices Seminar
Dates of the seminar, from the 30th September till the 6th October 2022 (arrival and departure days), in Coma-ruga (Tarragona)
